Unblock It 3D: Atlantis is a block-sorting, logic-puzzle game similar to Unblock It, Let the Train Go, Save Stranding Fish and Sort My Parking Lot. The player's goal is to remove square and rectangular blocks from the playfield before they run out of moves. They also attempt to earn coins, shellfish, boosters and chests.
On each level, the game presents blocks in a pattern that floats in front of one of many different undersea backdrops that include broken columns and statues of the mythic lost city, houses made of seashells, and old wooden shipwrecks. The blocks feature themed directional icons that include arrows and spearheads.
The player can only direct unblocked blocks to slide away from the field and off the screen. Sometimes, they must direct one or more blocks into a blocking position to open up a clear path.
Unblock It 3D: Atlantis provides helpful boosters. For example, the player can use a button marked with two arrows to change the pointing directions of all icons. They can use bombs to randomly remove blocks. After they run out of boosters, they use their trident-embossed gold coin winnings or view ad videos to acquire more.
The game gives the player daily rewards that include coins and boosters. On the seventh day, the player can open a treasure chest. That said, the game also supplies a chest that contains coins and boosters when the player completes a specific number of levels.
